For the graphic image our designer carefully thought of the mandioc to represent the Food Systems Caravan project in west africa. The manioc, or cassava, has an immemorial importance and presence in the traditional gastronomic culture is as remarkable, representing an primal and sustainable food stable in west african.
This will be a 50 day itinerant and digital/media caravan bringing the main messages of different R4D projects to diverse institutions and the general public in the main West African participating countries, under the framework of transdisciplinary and systemic solutions for complex socio-environmental issues mirroring the relevant SDGs within the context of food security.
Looking forward to meet again the sacredness and beauty of the western african old sacred forests…
